What is who was shishupal?

Shishupal was a character in Hindu mythology. He was the king of Chedi and was also known as Hiranyakashipu or Chaidya. He was a cousin of Lord Krishna and was known for his hatred towards him. According to legends, he had received a boon that he could commit a hundred sins and still not die, which had made him arrogant and fearless. Shishupal was killed by Lord Krishna during the Rajasuya Yagna, after he repeatedly insulted Lord Krishna.
